Get comfortable, gather your children in your lap, get a book and enjoy some closeness. You will be giving your child a gift of your time and presence. This can provide a much needed rest time for both you and your children.
Dylan's been getting in the habit of waking around 7. She usually doesn't want to eat but will fall asleep as soon as I bring her into bed with me. I've never slept with either of my babies, but this hour or so cuddle time before Jack wakes is lovely. She sucks her thumb for a bit, and we both drift back into dreamland.
